Dot2Dot is a new airport transfer service using luxury ‘shuttles’ operating initially between Heathrow and central London. It’s a first for the London market but the concept is well-established in the US. This is a door to door service at broadly half the price of a taxi in a shared shuttle with plenty of legroom and space for luggage.

Dot2Dot has a contract with BAA, the operator of Heathrow Airport, to provide transfers to and from Central London to the airport. National Express Group is the largest provider of surface transport to airports in the UK, and we have a close working partnership with BAA across all modes of travel.

Do I need an advanced reservation?
If you are travelling to the airport, you will need to book in advance so that we know where you are to come and get you.
If you are travelling from the airport, we advise you to book in advance, but we may be able to accommodate you without a reservation.
When is the latest I can make a reservation?
We accept bookings on our website up to the day before you want to travel. If you want book after this deadline, please call our reservation hotline on +44 (0)845 3682368 and we will try and accommodate you.
Why do you ask me my flight number when I make a reservation?
If you are travelling to the airport, we use your flight number to make sure we drop you off at the right terminal
When you are travelling to the airport, we track all flights using data from the Official Airline Guide (OAG). If we know your flight number, we can see when your flight lands, and make sure we are ready for you.
Why do you need my email address?
We need your email address to send you confirmation of your journey. We would also like to send you information of how we are improving our service, but that’s up to you – we won’t send you information unless you ask us to.
Why do you need to know my phone number?
We need your number so we can let you know when your vehicle is coming so you can get ready.
My cell phone does not work in the UK, how will you contact me?
If your cell phone does not work, we may not be able to send you a message in advance, but if you have any concerns, talk to your hotel concierge. They will know where we are and when you should expect us.

Do you offer a private car transfer?
Should you prefer to travel by private car, we have a fleet of top of the range cars for a private transfer. When will you pick me up?
If you are travelling to the airport, simply tell us when you are flying and we will work out when we need to pick you up to get you to the airport in plenty of time for your flight.
What is the pick up window?
Due to traffic conditions and the location of other pick ups, we arrive in a 15 minute pick up window. The time that we quote as your pick up time is the start of this window. Please make sure that you are checked out and ready to travel at the start of the pick up window.
How will I know when you are coming?
We will give you a call 30 minutes before the start of your pick up window to remind you that we are coming. When our vehicle is half a mile away, we will give you another call to your mobile / cell phone so that you can be ready for us.
How long will you wait for me?
As you will be sharing your journey with a few other passengers, we need you to be ready on time. Therefore please make sure that you are ready to travel at the start of your pick up window.
What happens if I miss my vehicle?
The size of our fleet means that we should have another vehicle along shortly. Should you miss your vehicle, please call us and we will see if we can fit you in.
Where will you drop me at the airport?
If you are travelling to Heathrow Airport we will drop you at the departures door of your terminal at Heathrow Airport.
You will not be sent a physical ticket. When you book, you will receive a reservation number. Please have this reservation number with you when you travel.
What do I do at the airport?
When your flight lands, please progress through immigration, baggage reclaim and customs. When you have cleared customs, please proceed to our desk to check in for our service.
How do I find Dot2Dot at the airport?
We have desks in all the major terminals at Heathrow.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Do not worry if your flight is delayed. We have vehicles leaving the airport every 5 minutes, and as long as you book in advance we will be able to accommodate you when you arrive.
How long will I have to wait at the airport?
As long as you book in advance, you will not have to wait more than 20 minutes for your vehicle. We track live flight information so that we know that you are coming, and can have a vehicle ready.
Do I need a reservation before I get to the airport?
We advise passengers to book in advance, to make sure that we can transfer you to your hotel within 20 minutes. However, we should be able to accommodate passengers who have not booked, so come to the desk in the terminal and we should be able to fit you in.

Each passenger gets an allowance of one item of hand luggage and two suitcases. If you have additional bags, we can accommodate them for a small fee of £3 for one way or £5 return.

What is the Dot2Dot service?
Dot2Dot is an innovative airport transfer solution for London, transporting customers in style and comfort between Central London and Heathrow Airport. We can offer you door to door transfers at about half the cost of a taxi, as you will be sharing your journey with a few other passengers travelling from a similar area.

The service costs between £14 and £22 per person in each direction. Discounts are available for groups of passengers.
